Rittenhouse shook me more than anything that’s come from the protests so far. Your writing explains why so beautifully.

It’s terrifying to think that theres a young generation of yt militants being bred to silence the testimony of Black pain. The state brutalizes and exploits Black and brown people, we, the brutalized, stand up to end it, and then these people take up arms because all they see is a threat to their segregated ‘prosperity’. And we know Rittenhouse isn’t the only yt kid prepared to do this. He’s just the first of a new generation of reactionaries to go public. It makes me scared for the future.

His trial’s going to be insane.
